Cherry Tree Denationalization of Moorish Americans

All memes aside, it is not a coincidence that the first nation to recognize the newly independent United States was the Empire of Morocco.  Back then, before there was a such thing as the United States, the rebels or European colonizers, were petitioning all existing world empires to recognize them as a sovereign nation.  No empires at the time would grant them permission to call themselves a nation and govern themselves as such.

They finally received permission from the Empire of the Moors, something which the United States still pays homage to until this day.

Treaty of Peace and Friendship Morocco and the US

The Treaty of Peace and Friendship is the longest standing treaty in America’s history.  It is between the United States and the Empire of Morocco.  This treaty continues to define the unique and strategic alliance between two of the oldest and closest allies across the Atlantic, even more than 230 years later.

In 1786 the Empire of Morocco formally recognized the United States when they signed the Treaty of Peace and Friendship.  Mohammed III, Sultan of Morocco, granted the United States ships safe passage through the Straits of Gibraltar and in Moroccan ports and, in doing so, formally recognized the European colonists as an independent nation.

Part of the treaty included that no person designating themselves as a Muslim or Moor could be enslaved.  Many Moorish Americans contend that George Washington got around honoring this treaty by denationalizing the copper skin toned indigenous Americans, hiding away their national flag in a vault, and labeling them negroes, which helped to push them further away from their connection to the ancient Moabites.

Did Noble Drew Ali Mention the Cherry Tree Analogy Specifically?

The quick answer to this question is no.  Noble Drew Ali is not on record alluding to the cherry tree story being synonymous with the denationalization of Moors in America.  However, in chapter 47 of the 7 Circle Koran, it states, speaking of the "dominion of Amexem, the first true and divine name of Africa", that

"Their dominion and inhabitation extended from North-East and South-West Africa, across the great Atlantis even unto the present North, South, and Central America and also Mexico and the Atlantis Islands; before the great earthquake, which caused the great Atlantic Ocean."     - 7 Circle Koran

Taken in full context, Noble Drew Ali is explaining how vast the Moorish Empire was.  He said that the true name for the continent of Africa was Amexem and that it extended to the Americas.  In the Koran Questions for Moorish Americans (literature from the MSTA) Noble Drew Ali explains that the Moorish flag, which is all red with the five pointed star is over 10,000 years old.

Within the Moorish Science Temple of America, the official teachings are as above stated that the true name of Africa was Amexem and that the dominion of this empire spread from Africa to North, South, and Central America, including the Caribbean islands.  Also we are taught that the red Moorish American flag with a five pointed green star is over 10,000 years old.

There are oral histories, passed down from Moors who knew Prophet Noble Drew Ali which state that he met with the President of the United States to retrieve the Moorish flag from a vault kept hidden from the public.  Below is a recounting of this story:

The Holy Prophet being guided by Allah reportedly retrieved the Moorish flag from President Woodrow Wilson (former Governor of New Jersey). The Moorish flag was reportedly kept in vault in Washington D.C. There were many Moors who lived during the contemporary of Prophet Noble Drew Ali, who bore witness to the Holy Prophet recounting the story of how he recovered the Moorish flag. The story goes as follows:

The Prophet asked for our flag, and it was brought to Him without the star in it, and He asked, "Where is the star that was in it." The star was brought to Him. There are still some alive that saw and heard the Prophet tell of this.

This feat of the Prophet was a miracle in itself, being fully cognizant of the fact that the Moroccan flag was a plain red field with no five pointed green star in the center. During the contemporary of Prophet Noble Drew Ali, the kingdom of Morocco was under a French protectorate and did not display the five pointed green star in the center of the flag until they received their independence in 1956, therefore the Holy Prophet Noble Drew Ali was flying the red flag with a five pointed green star the center long prior to Morocco.     - Savior of Humanity, Hopkins-Bey

 If this oral tradition is correct, this further cements the significance of the Divine and National Movement that Prophet Noble Drew Ali created.  There is no denying the fact that the Moorish Science Temple of America and Noble Drew Ali debuted the red flag with the five pointed star decades before Morocco adopted this flag.  The photo above is dated in 1928.

Whether the oral traditions are just myths or actual facts, it is not difficult to understand why Moorish Americans assert the George Washington chopping down the cherry tree myth to the denationalization of our people.  Noble Drew Ali made it plain and clear in the 7 Circle Koran that the Americas were considered a part of the Moorish Empire.  He taught that we were denationalized and tricked into taking on the labels negro, black, and colored (now African-American) and worked to bring us what we needed to build our nation back up.

Noble Drew Ali brought Moorish Americans our flag, and did so more than 30 years before Morocco adapted it.  Whether you personally believe the George Washington cherry tree myth alludes to Moorish Americans or not, it makes sense to thousands of Moors.

The "Cherry Tree" story hold significance to many Americans and has been used though out American history and education to convey the importance of the principles of honesty and trust to many a reader. However, not all interpret Weems proverb the same. In contrast, Moorish American history reveals a sinister side of the meaning housed within the immortal "Cherry Tree" story. The chopping down of the "Cherry Tree" has political and historic significance as it relates to so-called blacks (Moors) in the Americas (1). The story is said to record a monumental turning point in the transformation of American government and the destruction and usurpation of Moorish/Aboriginal existence for centuries to come. This topic of the Moorish American flag, the Treaty of Peace and Friendship and Moors being Subjects of the Moroccan Empire has been reintegrated many times over.    - Min. Cozmo El

The final chapters (XLV-XLVIII) of the 7 Circle Holy Koran of the Moorish Science Temple of America cover the “Asiatic” origins of the Moors. In the 7 Circle Koran, Africa is called, “Amexem,” and the dominion of the Moors is said to have extended even to Atlantis and America (so that Latin and Native Americans are actually “Asiatic races”). The Moors were stripped of their nationality in 1774 by the white Founding Fathers of America, and their Moorish identity lost and forgotten.
